The nostalgic side as a basis for the technological future

“You can feel the buzz in this city growing all the time. But this is only just the beginning.”  It’s the turn of directors duo OddOne to share their Eindhoven feeling with the world, as part of the ‘Share the Vibe’ video campaign Eindhoven launched at the beginning of 2016.

A computer chip full of possibilities
OddOne consists of two friends, Peter van de Riet (Eindhoven) and Kerry Murphy (Amsterdam). Peter usually starts with the preproduction and the style frames, Kerry sets to work on the construction and transforming it into 3D. On their Share the Vibe project, Peter explains: “The logo is the basis of the city of Eindhoven. A computer chip full of possibilities. If you zoom in on it, you’ll see a landscape full of macro and micro elements, which together create the energy that flows through the city. That 80’s vibe came about in a natural way. The nostalgic side of Eindhoven, which is the basis for the technological future.”
