Eindhoven wins National City Marketing Trophy 2017

Eindhoven won the National City Marketing Trophy 2017. That was announced earlier today at the National Congress Citymarketing in Emmen. This time, Eindhoven had The Hague, 's Hertogenbosch and Zwolle as its opponents in the category above 120.000 inhabitants. The city also won the trophy in 2014 and 2015.

"Eindhoven reaffirms its high ambition and shows itself as a lasting city in the area of city marketing. The Eindhoven city marketing is acting on a well-structured and professional level, closely cooperating with the region and sharing knowledge with others. The international marketing project "Just ESTonishing" in Estonia speaks to the imagination. The jury considers the role of Peter Kentie as a city marketeer of great value.

In the final assessment, subject-specific elements such as media profiling, monitoring and demonstrable effects of city marketing were considered. Finally, there was explicitly looked at innovation and contribution to the field.
