Eindhoven365 receives Place Marketing Award
Peter Kentie has received a Place Marketing Award on behalf of Eindhoven365 at the Place Marketing Forum in Strasbourg. Place Marketing Forum is an international conference organized every year by the New Place Marketing and Attractiveness Chair of the Public Management Institute (Aix-Marseille University).
The goal of the conference is to present and reward the best international cases in the field of place marketing. Eindhoven365 won the award in the category 'New ways to finance a territorial brand and to attract talents.' The PMF18 jury:
“For several years now, Eindhoven365 has been pursuing a consistent place marketing strategy with the restructuring of the city from an industrial economy to a high value-added services economy. Local actors (policies, companies, universities), involved in strategy, in the funding and branding campaigns, have appropriated the shared territorial brand, whose three pillars are Technology, Design, and Knowledge. Eindhoven365 has diversified its sources of financing (event, tourist tax…) in order to develop its missions to attract and to retain talents in its territory.”
