De Normaalste Zaak van Eindhoven on tour

Scoring second-hand clothes, furniture, or gifts, giving your old items a new life, or getting broken things repaired – in Eindhoven, that’s the most natural thing in the world. The city is full of great thrift stores and second-hand shops, and almost every neighborhood has a Repair Café or other repair service.

Last year, together with the Municipality of Eindhoven, local thrift shops, and Repair Cafés, we launched De Normaalste Zaak van Eindhoven. The goal? To introduce as many people as possible to the fun and easy world of second-hand and second-chance.

After last year’s successful pop-up in the Heuvel shopping center during Climate Week, this November we’re hitting the road with De Normaalste Zaak van Eindhoven on tour. From markets to the TU/e campus, we’ll be traveling all across the city. Visitors to the pop-up can discover unique finds from local thrift shops and see Repair Café volunteers bring broken items back to life. We’re also teaming up with local makers to host a range of workshops, from sewing lessons to creative projects using reclaimed materials.
