The end of 2021 is in sight, which can only mean one thing: Let's wrap up the year! This festive campaign, developed in cooperation with Stichting Binnenstad Eindhoven and creative agency HeyHeydeHaas, invites locals and visitors to end the year festively in Eindhoven. The 'Wrap up the Year' campaign will be officially launched on Thursday, 25 November.

Festive city centre

A visual identity was developed for this campaign: based on the Eindhoven brand, the vibes, patterns were designed that look like gifts, wrapping paper and other festivities. This graphic style can be used to dress up the city and marketing messages in print and online media. Thanks to the 'Festival gates' (Porte Celesti), Christmas trees on Wilhemina and Claus squares, atmospheric music in the city centre, and, of course, the campaign's visual identity, visitors will experience a festive atmosphere. An essential part of the festive month is shopping. With pages in the Saturday edition of local newspaper ED, we give five tips on how visitors can do their shopping smarter, including starting on time, coming during the week and shopping locally.

Reach

We will use a combination of outdoor advertising (flags, banners, euro panels, city beacons and LED screens) and online media (social media campaign and online advertisements on regional and national news websites). Online and offline, continuous reference is made to thisiseindhoven.com and cultural institutions, restaurants, and shops database.

Urban interventions

In the coming years, we also intend to place beautiful festive objects in the city centre to contribute to an end-of-year experience in Eindhoven style. Due to the current measures, this will unfortunately not be possible this year.

This project is made possible by Stichting Binnenstad Eindhoven, Bedrijven Investeringszone Eindhoven Centrum and the municipality of Eindhoven. Concept development by HeyHeydeHaas and campaign realisation by Eindhoven365 and Eindhoven247.
