Together with Dutch Design Foundation, we strengthen the power of design

The 25th edition of Dutch Design Week (DDW) is just around the corner. During this nine-day design festival, the city buzzes with energy as we position Eindhoven as the design capital of the Netherlands. To promote both DDW and Eindhoven, we are joining forces with Dutch Design Foundation in areas such as international press relations, media outreach, influencer marketing, content development, and city dressing.

Eindhoven = Design

In addition to promoting the Dutch Design Week event among residents, potential visitors, and professionals, our collaboration also focuses on positioning Eindhoven as a true design city. DDW is the ultimate platform for this, thanks to its vast reach, but there’s more.

Throughout the year, we work on projects, campaigns, and content that tell the story of design in Eindhoven. We share this through our city marketing channels: Thisiseindhoven.com and @eindhovencity on social media. We also collaborate on Eindhoven Design District, a joint initiative by the Municipality of Eindhoven, Dutch Design Foundation, and Eindhoven365. Through this project, we aim to promote design in Eindhoven’s public spaces, make it more accessible to visitors, and encourage the involvement of design professionals.

About the collab

Over the past years, we’ve worked closely together, and we’re continuing that partnership for the 25th edition of Dutch Design Week. Our collaboration spans multiple areas: we coordinate international press efforts, invite relevant content creators and influencers who align with themes such as innovation, the future, design, and of course, Eindhoven itself. On the editorial side, we collaborate on social media and content creation — using Thisiseindhoven.com and @eindhovencity to inspire potential visitors before the week and engage them while they’re in Eindhoven. Through city dressing, with banners and digital screens, we’re also enhancing the event’s visibility and vibrancy across the city.

Sharing in energy and knowledge

In recent years, Dutch Design Foundation and Eindhoven365 have worked together more closely than ever. By combining our knowledge, teams, and energy, we continue to strengthen both the event and the city’s position on the (inter)national stage. This is thanks in no small part to the ever-passionate and connecting Martijn Paulen, who will be participating in his final Dutch Design Week this year.
